    Skybox F3 & N Line

    Hi All,

I have just been given a Skybox F3 with a 3 month 'gift' to access all premium channels. I have looked at the cccam.cfg file and there is an N Line in there.

What ideally I want to do is to have as few subscriptions as necessary to service up to 4 boxes in the house, some will be single tuner, some will be dual tuner - I haven't yet bought the boxes other than the F3.

What would my best options be, without paying a fortune.

I was wondering if there is anything similar to a server and client setup where I could have a single box taking the feeds acting as a server and then feeding the rest of the boxes in a client role. A quick search seems to indicate the DM800 would fit this, but I am unsure if there are any other options.

Apologies if this is posted in wrong forum.

option to use a satellite receiver as many models have a server. the tuner demands installation of the corresponding software. DM800 good option, but is cheaper

Most Linux boxes would be fine to use as servers look at what your
budget is and look for one that suits you.

Most pay servers wouldnt allow resharing of their line and would disconnect you if they detected a double login.
Most would do a deal if you required several lines though, just email them and ask.
If you mean going the official sub route and resharing your own card, a dm800 or vu+ is what I'd recommend.
I would also recommend not getting a long sub to start with, especially with the things that seem to be happening with sly UK.

          Thanks all for the responses.

So to summarise, I could use any Linux based box to act as a server, though realistically I am going to need to subscribe to the lines anyway, in which case there wouldn't really be any benefit of having a server/client scenario in place - assuming I am not going down the official sub route that is.

          is that fair to say?

So realistically, I would just be best buying the boxes and then aggregating the lines to a single pay server provider and looking to do a deal for multiple lines?

More or less. Best be upfront with them from the off than try and chance it.
If not all boxes will be used simultaneously maybe you could ask if you could use them on more than 1 box, but not at the same time. Shop around, you might find a good deal.
