Vu+ duo thor + Astra

Hi,

I am moving house and in the new place we don't really have the option of having a dish for each flat. Can you please advise what would it be the best solution for 7 flats to have access to both satellites? would two dishes with octo lnb's be a solution. Would I require diseq switches for the other neighbours that don't have a vu+ duo box?

Astra and Thor being far apart i think your idea using 2 dishes with octo lnbs would serve the 7 flats ,good luck with all the switches and cables .

Which astra you receiving? 5e,19e,23e or 28e? depends on it.
And what is size of your dish?
you can possibly do a multifeed, with 2xocto lnbs +7x diseqc

I'm guessing you mean 28.2e for sly UK? If so, yes, 2 dishes, octo lnbs, diseqc switches should work.

There are no reports of anyone receiving Astra 2 in your area. The closest reports are from Egypt, Israel and Jordan, and there 3.6 to 7 metres are needed for Astra 2D.

Best option for you is to find an online stream. You're a bit to far out of the intended broadcast market.

Getting skysports on 28,2° is nearly impossible via sat in your region. 28,2 spots intentionally only for UK and a bit around in west europe. Sorry but there's nothing you can do.
