    Am I imagining it?

I read recently (I believe although i can't find it anywhere on any forums) that there is a plugin for e2 that will update your transponders overnight so you always have the most up to date channels for your system. Is this correct or am i just wishful thinking. Does anyone know and can point me in the right direction..

    Cheers in advance

I can image something like generating transponder list from i.e kingofsat and format it for dreambox channellist support. Seems legit to me...

        Re: Am I imagining it?

Its similar function to some receivers which update (upgrade) their software in the automatically. This function works in the background and wheneve there is an update available it grabs it and the software gets updated with the next restart.

With this plugin you set it to download at a certain time. You can choose how often, I chose daily.
Epg downloads at 00:15, autobouquet at 00:30 and stb goes into deep standby at 01:00.
All whilst I'm tucked up in bed.

some boxes ve their own vftp when the box new softwear is relaesed then this softwear is uploaded to the vftf and then it is easy for the box user to dowload from the this vftp to the external memory like usb or harddisk and the reciver softwear is upgraded easily

This isn't software update. It is a plugin that updates your channel list/bouquet automatically.
So that if there are any transponder/channel changes you are always up to date.
It doesn't run in the background, you can't watch tv whilst it is downloading which is why I set it to download whilst I'm in bed.
              I think it's only available on 28.2.

                  Re: Am I imagining it?

I think the developer of the 28.2 autobouquet was developing one for hotbird. Can't remember where I read it though

Dont know if it exists yet. The developer is LraiZer. You can look it up if you like, but I couldn't find any info on a hotbird version.

I use E2 Settings on my image (which is Oozoon)
                        I use setting pack 'Vhannibal 80E > 50W'

Updates all the 'birds' in the sky... recommended
Dislikes the Chinese Openbox Receivers, so much..
