    what's the difference between skyboxes?

    between s10,s11,s12,f3,m3,x3,f4 and so on
    i am interesed primarly in software support,then in signal quality,then wifi support,then as a media player.is any of models aboved who support dts downmix?
    i want to replace my first love,dm500s.
    how easy is menu/use of skyboxes?thanx

    Just a brief detail;
    Skybox or Openbox are almost the same make with two different names which supports the same firmware.
    They are all cosed source linux receivers.
    S10, S11, S12 support the same firmware. The channel storage memory is small and can store only 4000/5000 channels which is low if case you have a motorised dish.
    All the skybox/openbox models support USALS and they have the ability to do a blind scan.
    The earlier models have more support on the web but the latest models like F3,M3,X3 and F4 will be struggling for support.
    X3 has got 50,000 channels storage memory.
    The menu is very easy on all sky/openbox. Media player is good and support many formats.
    Signal quality is good.
    Beware of the Clones though!!
