Help needed!?

I am new to satlover forums and I need help I have this reciever called hitech 5000 I dont know if you know it but it is capable of newcamd and cccam servers but the problem is how do I put a server. In this forum the servers are like c:fhdfgerdfdjfghdfh (thats how I see it). how do I put a server in. sorry for my bad grammar. How to do I setup a server in my box. thank you.

I belive the receiver you have might be a closed-source box. But its no problem. If you go in to menu--settings and try find some where about server, then you will come to a page where you can enter server information. For you to connect to a cccam server i will take satlover free servers as example:

C: cccam.satlover.com 23275 F732C046_806C1C73 www.satlover.com no { 0:0:3 }

IP/HOST: cccam.satlover.com
PORT: 23275
USER: F732C046_806C1C73
PASSWORD: www.satlover.com

and just ignore no { 0:0:3 }.

Hi, Welcome to the forum.
I would suggest to do some reading on the forum, This question has been asked many times before for different receivers and the general rule is the same for all receivers that most of the people enter line via remote.
Satlover's lines are C line. So you have to enter the line details in the CCcam section. Here is an example. I have taken a line from satlover's free server

C: cccam.satlover.com 23275 D5136592_37311FA9 www.satlover.com no { 0:0:3 }

Host Name: cccam.satlover.com
Port: 23275
Username: 23275 D5136592_37311FA9
Password: www.satlover.com

Ignore the C: ,no and { 0:0:3 }

If You are putting line via USB then copy the whole line including C: and the rest, into a text file with the name CCcam.cfg (download one from ******) and save it in your USB and follow your receiver's method of uploading lines.

If you put in the cline as posted here above and you get connected to the server, you'll have all the channels of this server -> a lot of channels/packages opening.

Remember: only 1 cline of the same satlover server at the same time (forum rule to avoid banning!) ; as you're new and have only access to server 3, clines will probably have freezes ; the most usefull posts you have here, the better the clines and servers get.

I meant to say I want to know what channels I have access to with the server as in say C:................. (server) gives me jsc sports. I just want to know which server gives me which package none of the servers say channels or packages names.

you're right - difficult to know what's open ...
I didn't find a list myself neither - as said: trial and error: try the free clines from here and you'll have an idea if what's open - I know with satlover servers a lot is opening, about other servers I don't know

all satlovers cline servers are full servers
that will say you more an less can see everything
you can see if you surf a little on this site that there are nlines
nlines are split up with ports to each provider

So I can watch any Pay channel on my receiver if the server is on. Thank you very much for your help I shall soon put a premium server in my box.

yes but only if your dish can receive them
as your flag says you are from uk
so if you only have a dish with 1 lnb pointed on 28,2 east
then you can only see the channels on 28,2 east

Yes, if you have Astra 2 (28,2E) and your box supports cccam, you can enter the cline into the box and watch sly sports.

I don't know the box, but what's there in the server section? Isn't there something mentioned like cccamd/cline or newcamd/nline? If there's a field called 'DES' Key, this means nline.

Be sure not to use more than 1 cline from the same satlover server at the same time (forum rule, or you'll be banned!).

If you try to go to menu--settings and try find some where about server, then you will come to a page where you can enter server information. You can also try posting picture or description about what you see in menu, so we can help you better find it.

If it doesn't support cccam, you can always start looking for more info about this box and possible patches or alternative software (****** will be your pall) ; there's a section here (see: http://www.satlover.eu/forum/free-ca...site-here.html) where members can post nlines from elsewhere, but doubt they are good or will last long.
Here (satlover) is mostly about clines, don't like to say it, but I don't think you'll find good nlines or support about them here

Other option is going for a new box with cccam (client = cheaper or server = a bit more expensive). Honoustly: once you got sorted out with the cccam thing, you'll be very pleased (personal opinion).
