Cards for receiving HD channels are usually paired with providers receiver.
Therefore, receiving HD channels usually complicated.

Ok, but most of the provider hd channel is decrypted with a lot of servers, viasat hd channel is not to see on any server i have tried. So maybe special crypting system in use for viasat hd channel.

Yes they open and also open with satlovers servers,i just checked them and the ecm times are about the same as the pay multy sat server iam on.
Being videoguard i have noticed them a bit glitchy compared the the conax package on 1W
and of course to get a decent signal you need a fairly big dish from here.

Most sats tend to repeat channels we like to watch but on 5 E there are good channels we cant find on other sats,i even like to watch the Tv3's,takes me back to the d2mac days when that was the only sat we could watch.

I would say they are worth the little bit extra effort to get.

While we are on the subject of 5 E can anyone explain why i lose this sat late at night most nights then about ten mins after they fade the channels start to come back ,is the sat on a slightly inclined orbit within its box?

Viasat HD channels are broadcast by satellite SES-5 with Nordic Ku-band beam, it causes worse signal in other countries.
