like CNN did, now Eurosport has a new backup frequency, and that's FTA
Together goes SMTV San Marino too.

Of course...Eurosport was born on Astra as FTA channel, as far as I remember.
But on Hotbird that's really unusual (the same for CNN).
Anyway, with all these new channels (remember, both CNN and Eurosport didn't went FTA but opened new (temporary?) channels) I wanted to update my DvbDream list and post it as usual, but every time I scan I get different results...
We're living a very confusing period for satellite in Europe (at least regarding Hotbird).
I think that other satellites are not affected, because uplinks are so different from location of pirates that they can't do anything against them...

Let's scan again same transponder...here we are with another FTA channel: Eurosport 2 NE
I've heard opinions about all these new FTA channels: they are temporary and they'll stop when "pollution" on Hotbird will stop.

Sometimes Eurosport and CNN on Hot bird turn to FTA for some hours or even days.
The same happen with Turner Channels ( Cartoon Network, TCM ... ) on Astra and it can be for days too !
More rarely the Dutch package on Astra is sometimes FTA for Half Day time to time.

just checked: is seems open, but really bad signal on this TP ; continuously signal/quality on and off - not watchable - image now and then ... strange, think this still has to do with the hotbird problems ...

Yes, and so does Eurosport 2 NE, according what I've heard around it's even more watched (for football and tennis).

It seems to be gone with FTA.
At least I received news of friends, who are no more able to watch it.
Tonight I will check if the transponder is gone or crypted, can someone else confirm now?
