Viasat hd film channels

I do not seem to be able to pick the Viasat Hd film channels 11265 v dvb-s2/8psk on 5 deg East all i get is no signal should i be able to pick these channels up in the uk with a 1.2 mtr dish

They are on the Nordic Beam and show a fairly sharp cut-off going by the footprint as shown on Lyngsat so I doubt you would get them, maybe have to move a bit further North

I get all of Viasat on my Gibertini 1.25m dish in the North west of england the further you are to the east coast the better.

Also with the new SES bird in orbit now at 5° east they have increased power on most of the Viasat HD package which should easily be picked up on a 1m dish

I think i will have to recheck my settings i have checked the new ses bird on 5 east and have no signal on this bird

These publications are available east of England.which in town? If you west England you should 1.5 or 2.0 mt dish, low noise LNB.From Turkey Thor 0.8W nordic Beam come. Good luck bro

looks like this sat is out my range with a 1.2 mtr dish being the south of the country

Those dish sizes are estimates only and are not tested in the real world, as i say i get all of the Nordic beam fine with all Viasat Packages where i live.

first of all do you have a hd receiver
if not you can't see them nor receive them with your tuner

I have managed to get all viasat hd channels on 4.8 east now with a 60% signal but still nothing of the new bird on 5 east

I would have thought you would be getting a better signal than that on your 1.2Mtr, what is your signal level on Viasat Promo ? I get S 72% Q 72% on my
1 Mtr in Dublin so I think you still have a way to go. hope this helps.

That looks pretty good, I suppose the only thing is to try adjusting on one of your weaker transponders without messing up the rest of your arc, the things we have to do in the never ending search.

I think i must just be out of reach i have tried very minor adjustment but no signal on 5 east never mind it was fun trying

Bro iam using a 1.1 mtr triax ,strange thing here is i have plenty signal 70% but quality low 44% and when it rains i lose them,on my buddys 95cm dish along the road a bit we cant get them athough he does get the stronger transponders .
