I advise you to try a server out short term initially.
don't take out long subs.
Try a month at first, and if happy, maybe 3 months.

I would personally reccomend not taking any longer than three months at a time, If the server goes down you have only lost a maximum of three months money but if you have paid for a year in advance and the server goes down youve lost a lot more

why not give it a try here with a premium line (see section 'premium servers' on the top right)?? Seems to be stable and service+forum is ok.

Good luck anyway ; if you should go somewhere else: ask testline first ; as said here above: start with short time subscription (eg a month).

I have to admit i have a premium line from here. Primarily for Sly Uk and once i got it sorted it seems to work fine most of the time but it does freeze occasionally during busy times

the premium servers are quite pricey but then again compared to paying for sly , its a fraction of the cost i guess! any good servers out their fairly priced and 24hr test?

Try one from about 3/4 the way down list that is visible now that you have >10 posts - works pretty good for me.

They are changed daily around 5pm so you should get good performance if you update aroumd the time its changed each day

i mention this many many many times, free-lines get posted, so 100,000s of people using same lines, satlovers only 4000 lines, so what chance you got for free. if free lines where perfect be miracle.
only chance of better, freeee line is useful posts to gain access to better server with your own personal line, exclusive to yourself only.

Most sly uk servers are under a tenner a month. Compare that to £70 a month for full sly package and I think they're pretty reasonable.
Make more useful posts on this forum and you'll get access to better servers. Server 2 is pretty good, and it's free!

Bear in mind also if you take a subscription out from here (or any other server) you not only get sly but also lots of other european sats. I only started with Sly but have now got a dish pointing at hotbird & astra 1 also. Lots more sport movies etc in english. I was a novice when i joined satlovers but with their help i have done all this.
