Can I use NewcamD and CCCam line with the same box

I have an Eagle box using a NewcamD line subscription but I would like to get another subscription to Canal Plus for Spanish channels

It seems I can get only Canal Plus with CCCam lines but I don't know if I can use both protocols with the same receiver, CCCam and NewCam?

Hello,

it depends on how the menu for the cam is handled.

Can you set individually for each channel the cam you want or is it just a global choice?

I can select NewcamD and add all lines I want but to add CCCam then I have to go back to CCCam and add the lines and this one will be protocol active

I don't think I can have the two protocols active which is not very good becaus I can add a cccam using the newcam subscription I have

You have another solution but you need to know if the server of your newcamd accept this.

Convert your newcamd into an N-line and put it in the cccam. This works with linux box, don't know if it will with your box.

i use spiderbox, with nline, and cline, i have no probs.

You have another solution but you need to know if the server of your newcamd accept this.

Convert your newcamd into an N-line and put it in the cccam. This works with linux box, don't know if it will with your box.

Newcamd lines are N-lines so you dont need to convert them , only
put your N-line info in your cccam.cfg file ant they will work together ( with cccam emulator ).

Agree with Toby (Hi Toby)

Using Spider with Cline, Nline, Ethernet and Softcam - no problems.

Easy enough to turn on/off the decryption service when needed/not needed.

boxes I know (I know, only client) in the server menus you must choose the servertype (cccam or newcamd).

Yes you are right, I mean you dont need to do some difficult operations or use some programs to get N-line. Only need to put this info in propper way :

N: <ip> <port> <username> <pass> <des(14byte)

in your example :

Yes, but some providers don't work well with n-lines in cccam. It depends on the server you are using.

You need to check if the server allows it or not. I know a russian server that don't work well this way.

sucan and others if you have a real newcamd line
then it would be cvs line not nline
a cvs line cover all ports
an nline only cover 1 port=1provider
so you have to setup a nline 1 by 1
with all the ports the cvs line cover

it wont work together as dm only can start on emu at a time

There are some enigma images that can work with 2 cam, switching between them.

It's not ideal but it works.
