Stu42 the usb way is the only way to enter lines from this site onto Openbox or Skybox. Thats the best your going to get from here until your post count increases or you buy a line from here mate. Having siad that keep trying different lines some are not so glitchy as others.

      Is this the best way?
Also what do you mean by different sats or channels?
      Thanks in advance
People usually use their remote to enter c lines into their boxes. If you want to speed things up. Just copy the line into a notepa file with extension .cfg copy that text file to your usb and insert the USB stick into your box. Update the files in your box. Activate the line. Restart the box and the line should be online.
Its very easy and simple way once you get used to it.

There is a lot of discussion about this problem in another threads so better to do this kind of discussion in the dedicated threads and keep this thread only for the freezing of skybox F3. Have a look
        here

        and

you can always send a pm to admin to get test line and test it for yourself. Have heard bout it that its good server and not much money.

Just to add a finer point Stu43 continue to use your usb for the lines on here as the Openbox does not recognise "_" this symbol its the ONLY way to get the line on mate.

Just for information of the Openbox and Skybox users that both boxes recognise "_" symbol. just keep pressing zero on your remote whilst entering a c line through your remote.

Sorry didn't want to start a domestic. I think I must be adding them properly as I do get a short burst of picture before it just freezes.
Where can I get stb_mm_lan, and is there any tuts showing how to work it?

                  Re: Freezing Skybox F3

I've tried lots of them. None so far have given me anything more than about a minute but then I'm low on posts etc so probably not getting the best. Are you suggesting it should be better ?

i've also noticed that when in the manage CCcam the status jumps from Online to Login to Offline constantly.
Again, is this just to be expected or is their something i'm missing?

F3 Skybox and Openbox are closely related.
The file is in this thread:

As for tutorials it's fairly simple.
Find your box's IP address by going to: Menu>Network Setup
                      Start the STB_lan utility.
Login to it using the box's IP address.
Go to the CCcam plug dropdown and select CCcam.cfg
                      Paste your line/s.
Save using the floppy symbol (important).
Select CCcam.cfg again and hit green arrow to send the .cfg to the box.
                      Reboot box.
                      That's it!

Also useful for dumping/backing up all the box's channel lists and system files...enjoy.
