I have it plugged into the router (ASUS RT-N16) for backup, if ppoe fail.when Internet router switch on the modem all clients appear disconected(servers are connected).someone use sharing with 3G modem? someone has this problem? know someone solution to my problem? CCcam ports in router are open, the modem is 7.2mb / s, HSDPA (ZTE)

anyone?on other topic a lot of guys say that they will put 3g modem

I use 3g modem.
In my setup (dir-320 and huawei e1552) everything's OK.
But I had a problem looking very familiar to yous on huawei router. I used to set up CS for a friend. That router was made for Megafon cellular operator. I unlocked it and placed other operator (MTS) sim. PC with Mozilla Firefox surfed internet very nice, GI 8120 showed ******* movies, but could not connect to CS server. I almost broke my brains looking at those wonders. Then I found on internet 3g connecting parameters. Everything was made right except profile name. Recommended was MTS Internet. I used was MTS. I changed it and voila - it woke up. Working till today.
So you have to try to find exact parameters for your cellular internet provider.

One more thing
These 3g USB modems acting like multi function devices, e g modem+ virtual cd rom. So you need to use a special AT- command (I don't remember it) or a program called 3gsw.exe to switch a modem to modem-only mode.
This software has russian interface, so howto:
- plug in modem to your pc
- start 3gsw.exe
- there are 3 buttons: first - modem only second - with special features, thrd - exit

thanks,i will try today.is it posible to have ports blocked(3g modem)?my problem is with clients,all servers are conected but clients =0
p.s i found 3gs.exe but is for huawei,it will work for zte also?

When you start 3gsw.exe it's written in Russian " 3G-modems ZTE and Huawei mode switching program using АТ-commands" So it must work with your zte.
But I think it won't help.
What we have
- you can connect to sharing server
- you can serve your card via adsl or ethernet (don't know)
- you cannot serve your card via 3g

What it means?
- Are you using DDNS? Or you just give someone cline with pure IP? In second case changing the carrier will destroy service. You will need to go to some internet site showing your IP when you work via 3g, for example speedtest.net, write it down and send to your clients. Or you may register in some DDNS service, something like _http://dyn.com/dns/
- In Russia mobile operators always block an ability to connect to mobile modem from internet, don't know how they behave there in Europe, but bearing in mind that Russian operators are aping from Western ones, they block it too. This issue has no solution. You will not be able to share cards.

this is my situation:i have ppoe fiberlink 2(100 mb/s) and provider gaved me FOR FREE 1pcs 3g modem ZTE.When i am using ppoe everithing goes smooth,no-ip is making updares,sharing,clients are ok.When i switch to 3g modem,all my clients are offline,but i am still conected to all my servers.Thanks for yours answers,i will try to reflash today my 3g modem

no luck,thanks for infos.it is posible that isp provider is not give me public ip?no-ip is not updating when i switch to 3g modem.
i tried to reflash modem,i tried to put oleg and tomato software in my router,other idea?thanks
