If your monitor cannot handle stereo pair - it will show it unchanged - two pictures near each other squeezed horizontally
not all dvbs2 mp4 receiver can output 3d i have 2 well 3 if oyu include hte pc card, but one of the reciever can not output 3d but the other can, upon testing it seems it not putting out the picture it receives so the 3dtv doesnt get the picture/picture to convert to 3d, not saying most of the tiem what you are saying woud be correct just now completely true there are some reicever that cant do it

Best way to find out is ****** the brand name.
I doubt anyone on here has much experience with that particular tv.

All HD Receiver can 3 D but the differnt is,that not all receiver can switch the picture and the OSD.Most of the 3D TV you can switch manual to 3d.
For Dreambox you can get a 3d plugin to switch the OSD from side bye side to one picture

I looked at the reviews and all of them are positive and for the money it well going for this model to try out 3D + you get 4 pairs of glasses.

Am I correct in saying you have an openbox?

What you mean with this "cannot output 3d", what it shows instead, black square?
I know for sure EVERY equipment that can receive 3d pic (stereo pair) from SAT will be able to output it unchanged to TV
Even if you will connect your modern receiver with old-fashion TVset via composite link and tune to some 3dhd channel you will get the stereo pair on your old-fashion TV
It will look something like this

But if your TV can handle 3d it will not show stereo pair like this but it will show 3d picture.

Yes it depends on your TV, so if you have proper one you can enjoy 3D.
The number of 3D programs increase every day. Nowadays you can watch
a lot of live sport events, movies and documentaries - specially on the Sky3D channels ( de and it ). If someone asks do these programs are enough - absolutely NO

Just to be clear on the OSD comment.. even if your sat box does NOT handle this .. all you do is shut one eye and then the other to see the complete OSD..

I run a Coolstream with a Panny 3D TV and it works fine.

The brand you are talking about are the very lower chinese models. they are sold by so many different name and most the supermarkeks all over Europe sell them. They will have a very low contrast ratio, will be HD ready and also will play 3D but stear away from them as the picture quality is really poor thats why you will never see them on the display, switched on..

I've been watching the Olympics on the new tele bought from the supermarket and must say that watching the diving and gymnastic was truly remarkable when watched in 3D.

When branded 3D televisions cost so much I would highly recommend this cheap one from the supermarket.

It has been mentioned so many times that the Premium server is similar to the free servers but better quality, no freezing and no glitches. The best thing is that you get the server whenever you want it. Just have to pay for it. Why not ask the Admin for a test C line and give it a try. If you like it then you can buy it.

PS All the free servers oppen the 3D contents.
