C line in tiger t600 hd 2 usb via usb

Do you have an option in the receiver like " Upgrade By USB" ? If Yes then you will have to find out if you can update CCcam.cfg file.

PS: My answer appears before the question due to a problem with the time on the forum.

I think in every receiver its possible to do it via remote but when you have more than 1 line, its really time consuming to put every line via remote control. People outside of satlover server always hunt for lines and they change many times during the day. Therefore its easy to have the USB option.

Correct ; find a cccam.cfg file or make one if you can't find one for your tiger (only text in it, sure you can find examples of other boxes). Normally when you can do an update via usb - seen: as microchick said - in most boxes you can load it as firm/soft/key. About possibbilites updates: perhaps this is in the operator's manual?

PS: also posts a little bit mixed up

Pan1100 explained it well! Its like a game of hit and trial. You will have to find out the correct place. You just need to try every option in your receiver. I have searched through and there's no tutorials available on the forum about this. Is there any way you can go to the origional makers website and get support from there?

            hi

forgot to tell: always make a back-up of all things you can (soft, channellist, original soft) before you start experiencing (always a chance that something happens). Also check possibilities of re-installing (original)soft via usb or serial RS232 before.

edited: if you use clines from here, remember only to use 1 cline of 1 server at the same time!!

Can you not restore the box to the previous firmware or the factory defaults? If every thing was uploaded from the factory then it might come back with a restore. give it a try but remember Pan1100's comment to make a backup.

Are you not able to connect via a network? It is much easier doing it that way.

That is a good idea bokkie, A network connection would be the best choice if there is no USB option. You might need to use Samba or telnet. Theres also some network programs available

all true, but msaeedpp's question was 'by usb not mannualy', so usb will be there, network I don't know. @msaeedpp: if more info needed, just ask.

That is how I do it in my openbox, the only difference is that I edit the file CCcam.cfg as a notepad file. Then copy/paste into my usb and update the CCcam.cfg file from USB on my openbox. Activate the line. Restart the box and Bingo!

Pan1100 is absolutely right about the backup. If you are pointing your dish to only one satellite then there's no problem. Just note the firmware version which you are using at the moment. If you lose your channel list for one satellite then its easy to scan again. Multiple satellites make it difficult and always best to back up. Is there an option in your receiver called " Dump by USB"? or "Back Up"You will need a freshly formatted USB and then click the option on your remote in the menu. It will stroe all the information from your receiver to your usb.
                        Good Luck

                          hi

As said, try to back-up as many settings as you can (alternative soft, original soft, channellist, transponderlist, menu settings). Mircochick is right about the usb - possibly it needs to be formatted in FAT32

In fact, all depends on the possibilities of your box, navigate through the menus and see what's there ; also possible (as one of my boxes), you need to go to the menu -> pvr or usb -> update: there you can choose to 'load from' stick or to 'save to' stick - can also be in the menu 'settings', 'installation' or 'extra' - have a look what's in the manual.

If you have an external harddrive you can backup settings on there and then just reload them after you reset the stb.

Firstly you have to format the usb stick to fat32.
Put the Cccam.cfg file on the usb and insert the usb into receiver.
There should then be an upgrade by usb option under network settings.
                              try that.
