everything that you can get without the card you would get with a normal receiver

$ky claim the card gets you about 100 more channels that regular freesat but I cannot imagine what

100 more channels with sly card? I can't believe this. Must be a big scam from sly just want people to pay for the card. Without a card your first channel like 101 will be BBC1 London instead of your BBC1 local channel

        Mickbass,
you would be better to purchase a descent box and average sized dish say 80cm, and go motorised, there is a whole lot more out there than you think, besides sly uk, there is sly de, sly ita, and tons of other packages to receive, do a bit of reading up on c/lines, n/lines,
£20 for white card waste of cash for shopping chns etc.
Do not send me iptv/cline requests,

technical or iptv/cline server questions in PM!

        I will not answer!

Follw Toby's advise OR get a Freesat box and you will get most of the channels on 28.2e. It will give priority to your local channels as well as Channel 4 and Channel 5 for free. You also get a few HD channels. If you are not looking for sports channels then for the UK Freesat is the better option. These days you can also get BBC iplayer on Freesat provided the box is connected to your modem router

The only 'extra' channels you get with a FTV card are Channel 5 HD, Viva, Liverpool FC TV, Pick TV and Sony TV. So not really worth £20. I got one a couple of years ago before Channel 4 HD was FTA. Might be worth if it you are a Liverpool fan I guess?

              Re: free to view

I'm a bit of a Liverpool fan, but surely isn't worth spending £20.
Indeed, if you have some other sats availiable, there's a lot of fta channels worth looking! Think that would be a better investment than an monthly subscription.

The trouble with the other satellites is that there are very few English Language channels which are Free to Air.

Unfortunely that's true (fta not much english) - on the site of king of sats the available audio is shown (not 100% correct, but mostly it is). You can filter the sats and the fta channels to see what's interesting.

If you want some entertainment like soaps and dramas then you really needs your local artists or the global artists, other wise even if the channels are in English language but you wont know most of their local artists and you wont feel at home
