Another Spiderbox tip

As you all will know BISS keys are available for PLTV, Chelsea TV and NBA TV.
The only trouble is theses channels are all on the same frequency 11387 and you can't enter all the sets of keys at the same time (you can only open 1 at a time)
The way round this problem is to scan 11382, 11387 and 11392 and use 1 of the above channels for each frequency (delete the rest) then enter the biss keys as normal. IE.
11382 0000 ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** (Chelsea TV)
11387 0000 ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** (PLTV)
11392 0000 ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** (NBA TV)

hi my mate, that be useful for some that have to use biss keys for other options, i tried that some time ago stretching the freqency out.
the freqency for bbc chns 28east, were very similar to some chns on badr 26east which are a lot stronger, so bbc in cyprus struggling, ie weaker beam, this a while ago, satellite 1n put paid now to bbc in cyprus.

quite agree with you, but if i could not get them chns from other souces would def chase them up.
met a guy in cyprus last month he got a dreambox installed by installer, he has the nova/al jaz spt chns, via server 80euros year 13east good price he said if he loses a chn likes to get back even thou, his words (never watch it) but thats the game of this hobby.

came upon this accidently, in channel menu, press info button, tells you info about that particular chn, new to me, might help some users

Hi toby, I presume you are talking about the Sid's and VPid's info. This has been useful to verify which channel you are trying to open with the G**t as I am sure you are well aware there are a lot of duplicate channels on various sats only one of which opens with the Spiderbox.

Are you still talking about the Spiderbox when you say your set up has NBA Adhoc instead of Chelsea TV. Because as the channel (NBA Adhoc) is transmitted in MPEG 4:2:2 it does not open for me on my Spiderbox HD9000. If it is open on your Spiderbox is there a 'trick' to it or only certain Spiderbox models do 4:2:2 ??

I setup the Biss key but of course it didn't display anything as it is in 4:2:2. A blank screen is still better than Chelski TV though!
