No that will not fix the issue, I have done some digging an d believe yt the satellite.xml file which needs to have the current frequency.
I believe once you have this then you need to perform a scan. I will try and update accordingly.

i also found with a certain box some time ago that if your box has too many transponder numbers in its memory, when you do scan cannot hold chns as not enough space, i always now try to keep these down to a minimum in my currant box.
Do not send me iptv/cline requests,

technical or iptv/cline server questions in PM!

          I will not answer!

indeed a good idea to only have those sats you actually can see with your equipment
as if you have a dish with 2 lnbs
only have 2 satellites in your xml file

This message means that no channel currently transmits on the SID number stored for that particular frequency. Probably those channels have stopped transmitting or moved transponder.

Mostly indeed local fault (dish, ...). First of all check if this channels and sids are still broadcasting (hope I don't violate the rules, but take a look at eg: l*ngsat, k*ing of s*ts or others). So you have confirmation whether it's a local/personal problem or not.

sometimes I have found channels replicated on downloadable channel lists. It doesn't seem to happen if you do your own list.

Re: Sid not found in PAT?

I had this and tune failed as well. It turns out the tuner was not seated correctly in the dreambox. I purchased new rev m tuner as this tuner is more sensitive tuner.

I would rescan the box and redo channel lists. Check dish lnb is ok and check to see if the tuner is ok in the box. Hope you can get channels back quickly.

Always better to rescan yourselve and don't use another's list ; mostly problems occur, which take more time to solve than to make your own scan and sorting (best with an editor).

channels can get replicated when symbol rates appear 27500 or 27497 on same transponder number.

                              hi

                              Didn't know this, thanks.

I only got duplicated channels after using a downloaded channellist, and in a few cases after editing them by pc (but thought this was my mistake).
I experienced when it comes to duplicated channels the best thing you can do is: delete all concerned channels, delete concerned transponders, re-add transponder and rescan.
Trying to change the existing channels and/or transponders wasn't very successful for me.
