    Nilesat Bouquets

Hi Guys i have a Blackbox 500s currently at 28deg and another dish available that is on nsat, I am thinking about using a Diseq to put both dishes through the box.

First question is? Is it possible. and how to set up.
Second Question Can I find Nilesat Bouquet's anywhere, I have searched but not much luck.

As a total newbie I am trying to learn as much as possible.

    Thanks

try, flysat.com or en.kingofsat.net for all your beams/frequencies/footprints etc.

    Fitting a DiSEqC Switch

A common installation that we do is to put up one dish pointing at Astra 2 for the British FTA channels and a second pointing at Atlantic Bird for the French FTA digital channels. The DiSEqC switch is connected to both satellite dishes and will connect automatically to the correct dish when it receives an instruction from the satellite receiver. Typically, DiSEqC switches are two-output or four-output. The four-output switch allows one FTA satellite receiver to control four separate satellite dishes by sending automatic commands depending on which channel has been selected on the receiver. The DiSEqC switch is typically fixed to the rear of one of the dishes and then each port is cabled to each LNB with standard low loss satellite cable. The switch is then connected to the satellite receiver with just the one co-axial cable.

If you are going to do a DIY DiSEqC installation, the easiest method is to install and align each dish by connecting it directly to the FTA receiver and ignoring the DiSEqC switch. So, you would connect the Astra 2 dish to the satellite receiver directly, choose a pre-programmed channel and align the dish according to the DIY Instructions of your choice. Once you have aligned the first dish, connect the second dish directly to the receiver, select a pre-programmed channel and align the second dish. Once both dishes have been correctly aligned, you can connect them to the external DiSEqC switch and also connect the switch to your satellite receiver. All that's left now is to programme your satellite reciver so that it switches to the correct satellite depending on which channel is selected.

myself just returned from paphos sunday, not much receivable now from 28e.
