congratulations dessertrat on your quest to hunt down a 4.2 mesh dish at long last, traveling 900 kilometers to pick up, (how much gas used!) i presume its a c/band set-up for that eluded satellite you after for multichoice chns, good look with the re-assemble an if possible how about some thumdnail pics for members to view.

here you go triad. Yea got one. Have to dissassemble and transport it 900K's. There is another one closeby. It is approx. 4m in Diameter and weighs 1500 Kg and it is going for scrap value.

perhaps he busy at moment assembling new dish.

I am also prefer to put 4.2 m motorized Dish as I in middle east ,
but , Unfortunately most of Astra 2A/2B still signal weak with it ..
Then , only 2.1 m still enough to get more Europe Package ...

If you have 4.2 or alike dish you could use it. I'm certain that it would be all right to catch some more European packages so why not going to larger dish.
If I understood, you are sticking to 2.1?

i would not bother mohammad2088 as them satellites being replaced, one later this year an one next year, probably be even tighter focus beam.
