It is free of charge. Initially you had to be with sky broadband to recieive anytime plus, but they are changing that so you can get it with any broadband provider.

The content is actually downloaded to your hd box, not streamed.
I get about 16 mbit/sec on my line and within about 30 seconds of downloading, I can start viewing it.
          Hope this helps

Probably in Italy will not be free of charge.
They are speaking of something like 3/4 € per month.
In italy we pay too much for everything

In Italy the Anytime+ service is starting test phase .
A question to UK users :

The old decoders ( the ones that didn't upgrade to the firmware that enables internet connection ) has been replaced free of charge by the provider ?

              Thanks in advance

I received my sky hd receiver free when I signed up to sky hd.
Before that I got my sky+ receiver free, so I guess you should.

It is free to sky subscribers, which the O.P. is.

I had it when it first started then had to change my hard drive and then could not get it, lot of hassle with customer service saying that I'm trying to use on different computer did not bother again.

                          Re: Anytime+ opinions

Found this - supposedly allows the storing on s-Y Anytime to the local HDD in your dreambox.
Can not work out the instructions at the moment..
                          Its written in German

                          filename = anytime_0.06.zip

                          instructions:

                          Requirements:
Linux box (never been tested with Windows?)
                          PHP 5.3
                          mysql
Enhanced movie centers on the Dreambox (will remove the need for a Recycle Bin for the recordings)

                          install:
First Unzip folder in a browser-accessible path
Second The Mysql Dump 'mediadb.sql' into a Mysql database load
Third config.sample.php umbenenneb in config.php in config.php and adjust the data to Mysql server and Dreambox.
4th status page access via browser: anytime.php
5th To 'Editor' click to set all channels to be taken into account in anytime
                          6th anytime_service.php run via shell (zBsp php5 php5 anytime_service.php anytime_service.php or screen)
7th All records end up in the folder '/ hdd / movie / anytime / on your hard disk
Dislikes the Chinese Openbox Receivers, so much..
