Last year I started looking for an alternative to paying for movies and sport from a satellite provider

I discovered the DreamBox, read up on it, twin tuners, HD and the ability via CCcam to decode your existing satellite card and keep updating the cards entitlements

So I bought a Ferrari 8000 HD DreamBbox, put in a 1 TB hard drive, DVD player/Writer, and 4 pin fan
Tried different images, `til I was happy with one, followed advice from from ******, got Cool TV installed, EPG refreshing daily, Fan Control working and of course CCcam 221 with configuration file using hex converted box key

Then came time to try my white card in my DreamBox, worked perfectly over the festive season, watched films and sport etc., with no problems at all
Confident I had everything running smoothly, I cancelled my satellite subscription
31 days later my subscription ended and to my horror so did my entitlements, the CCcam no longer decodes NDS and the card apart from free sat channels is dead
So, my question is what could I have done wrong? Or do I just just accept CCcam failed me and I have myself a very expensive free sat box 

It seems that you have disabled EMM on your card. Look into setting Cccam, or insert the card into the skybox and leave it overnight.

seems as if you cancelled your sub your card not being updated, if you want sly cheaper plenty good servers about, very cheap.
but perhaps other problem, not up myself on dreams. good luck some very good people on here will probably come to your rescue.

If you have canceeled your subscription that's the problem if you disable emm it will keep it alive for a while but not for ever because the card can not be updated if you enable emm now it will make no difference,. have a look with Cccam info and it will tell you if your entitlements have run out.
I think your only way forwards now is renew the subscription or buy a Cline.

The box will keep alive your entitlements, but if you no longer subscribe you are no longer entitled to view the encrypted channels.

Keep alive your entitlements means the box keeps your card updated without you having to put it back in an original box every few weeks, not keep alive your entitlements once you stop subscribing.

Put the white card back in dbox. Can you view Pick TV and Viva? These channels are encrypted but will be unscrambled by any white card. If you can then you know the NDS is being decoded by dbox.

As stated by NML to continue viewing you need to re-subscribe or get a line.
