where can i find rugby?

Hi all. Just about to get a motorised system and spiderbox.
My question is, does anyone know where i can find reliable, frequent rugby broadcasts?
I am mainly looking for southern hemisphere, tri nations ( or soon to be 4 nations) super rugby and currie cup.
Any help?

i guess that it depends on which satellites you'll receive but i guess there is many channels where you can watch it . try this :

Oh, does aljazeera show rugby? I thought they were mainly football.
i was trying to see if i could get setanta africa, but from what i've gathered it's not possible in the uk.

I'll have a 90 cm dish so should get most sats. Live in the south east as well.

but ur dish is too small to catch them

you should have no problem with 13e, al jazeera spts, setanta africa doubt it,
have a look at L.J.s LIVE sport on satellite tv (from previous post), plenty rugby there if you check other sports topic, also shows what satellite broadcasting match from etc.

aljazeera have almost all games around the world and i guess sometimes it broadcasts the rugby world championship and i guess there is also ESPN

ESPN? Which one? Isn't there several ESPN on several sats? The UK one doesn't show much at all.
Now that I am at home on my PC I'll have a look at the L.J. Live sport to see what is showing.
Really wish I could get DSTV or Multichoice Africa over here. Not really possible form what I've heard.

Just had a look toby. The rugby I want to follow, super rugby, starts at the end of February.
So far it is only showing on Skysports, which I currently have, but was hoping to get rid of. That's why I'm starting to get into this. Wanna stick one to the dishonourable mr Murdoch.
I'll have to look closer to the time and see if aljazeera or the like are showing it
And yes, also in UK. Wish I wasn't right now with this weather.

Start with cable. I know that there is a cable station in Ireland (forgot name) that view all the major Southern hemisphere matches. Curry Cup as well. I will try and find out.

thx dessertrat. I was hoping that maybe sky italia or Canal plus in france might show some but it's proving difficult to find out.
I know nothing about cable. All the research I'm doing is into satellite as i thought they had put a stop to cable a while back.

Yeah just had a look thx. Says the same thing, only being shown on Sly.
Six Nations, etc is being shown on rte2 and espn as well. But not Super rugby.

Most cable channels has got Sat alternative. Try their webpage or contact them. They are normally really helpfull.
