Hi did you know you can record a channel and watch another on a spiderbox 9000, While recording a channel if you press OK and a list of the channels you can watch appears.
the R&P : is the channel you are recording.
Plus the other channels on this TP.
Just choose one and press OK.
but if recording encrypted you cannot watch another encrypted channel as your box can only do one at once.

Guys you can do this on any single tuner receiver that has PVR capability infact the TM5402 goes one further it lets you watch one and record 3 from the same transponder.

That may be so the thread was not about tm5402 box it was about a spiderbox and some people do not know you can do this, if you want to tell people about the tm box start your own thread

My point was before you started going off on one is that this is not just related to just the spiderbox all single tuner satellite receivers what ever brand they are and have PVR capability can do exactly the same.

I suggest you read up more this has been common knowledge since the first production single tuner receivers became available.

Anyway my points made.

Yes, this function is great. I've used it sometimes on the free movie channels of the UK. Very handy when you have 2 good movies or programs around the same time, that you don't wanna miss.
