    Spiderbox tip

If you have more than one cline entered and you want to choose a paticular one for the channel you are watching.
Press <pr, highlight the cline you want, and then press fn1.

This is great info. I didn't know about this. This will become very handy, because otherwise I'm always waiting till the strongest line kicks in. And sometimes it seems there can be conflicts with it. That I need to restart that channel or wait a long time. And it's also not interesting to login out, in, out, into the server.

That's really useful sataday, did you find this out by chance or on another forum?

A while ago, on another forum. (I'm not that clever)
Also, when on that page (Client) press "info" to confirm which line is running.

I stumbled across the info button bit by accident before but didn't know how to activate a specific line so nice one!

just had a look at that, it will be handy if you have numerous servers.
Do not send me iptv/cline requests,

technical or iptv/cline server questions in PM!

              I will not answer!

                Hi Sataday,

Been using this method for switching between line providers for a couple of weeks now, comes in handy pressing <pr key to check if the line is still conected. you can also use this shortcut to edit the line of course.

                Regards RB

For anyone who, like me, uses Spider RCU for TV as well. I have found it very useful to program RCU so that even when RCU is set on "STB" the volume buttons control the TV volume.
If you need to alter the STB volume you can still do this by using the "<" and ">" buttons.
See page 7 of the user's manual

                        also with spiderbox,
if you in client menu on line page and you have various lines from different servers press info, and tells you what line is running.

                        toby

                            Chelsea82 It's a long time since I've been called a lad !!
I got into the STB world when I retired, started with D2Mac then various Technomates and most recently, Spiderbox 9000HD.
At times all the new technology blows my mind a bit but the learning curve , hopefully , continues and eventually I will get c-lines, n-lines etc. sorted.
All the help and information on the site is much appreciated.

D2mac.....ah.....seems like a long time ago.
I still have my old BSB converted box, somewhere in the shed.
