      Re: Line stability?

No Toby, I don't consider it as a gift. In fact, if we didn't had these channels, I have not buyed this box. Why ? it doesn't have any CI-slots, so I can't use my cams with it. And I also can't use cccam with it. In my eyes, it's then only a good FTA receiver. For that high price, I would have buyed another one. Maybe a dreamb.

        Re: Line stability?

sounds about right then, i nearly bought one of those boxes, i was thinking of the protek9600ci i think, but at the time i thought it was a bit expensive so i did not look into them any further, if it dont support cccam, does it support newcamd?

Yes euroslob did mention he paid £40 for the service for his box and it does not run out,he's a smart bloke is euro, that £40 was a bargain,
I think he must be on holiday he's be quiet the last few days unless he's floating around invisible.

            Re: Line stability?

yes fandm perhaps euro floating around europe looking for smart deals, so really then jack if you decided not to buy £40 gift when buying box which gift purchase was optionally, the box was really an expensive fta box then, with hd i presume.
probably thats why euro got a cheap spider so can enter sealions (sorry fandm) just a joke, ps any luck with house sale

To be honest, if you want to have a Protek I think the 9700 HD will be better. This is also the one I have. Most of theire customars did buy one and are all happy with it. It's also still the best receiver they have. The 9700 HD supports Newcamd yes. Also the 9600CI if you do an update first. From the other ones, I'm not sure.

I agree with you. You can go further with your Spiderb. And I believe you have access to server 2 here ? Then you will have more channels open, than on the Protek

fore lowest freeze you must buy specific CLine
                      not free server

                          Hey Toby,
Don't know why you're using 2'nd server since U have possibility of using 1st server, lot less freezes and more stability. Or that was just input for us lower post users to whom 2nd is closer?

                          cheers

Posts don't mean anything it is after all up to Mr satlover who gets access to the No1 and No2 servers. These things do take time and i would imagine he is pretty busy
