Which Cam?

After trying test lines from various Premium servers,all of them had some freezing and glitching on Hd channels with C lines,even though they claimed not.Trying newcamb at mo seems to be more stable with only slight glitching.
From what I can gather from servers the best cam is mgcamb?,Can anyone verify this from experience .

Hi toby I know you cant use mgcam on spider,I was thinking of next box?.Possibly a Vu+ duo hence all my prevoius questions..

Nlines are supposed to be the best for Spiderboxes, but there are Cline servers available the work just as good.

Hi sataday I have had some good clines on spider but in hd they tend to pixalate and freeze.I know its not my set up as I still have gift on spider and HD is ok.Still like and will keep spider but want also to get into Linux,more programable with more options mgcam being just one of them,

do not know about yourselves if still using satlovers free lines but i have noticed they are a lot better now, i know i am on server2 but have you 2 noticed any difference, since up to now over 117 nicks been reported pasteing lovers lines all over the web.

Toby, you and the other guys who are reporting people for posting free cline from here on other sites are doing a great job, It's bound to help stability. I'm useing clines off server 4 and they not too bad. Would like to get on to server 2 though.

think a lotta peeps in same boat, theres a chap been waiting for server1 for over six months now, can agree, but not worried, people seem to be kept waiting, all up to the boss i suppose.
never mind thou, not the end of the world, think euos had enough of waiting, end of subject.

Only satlover can give lines, but this isn't the topic of this thread! So no more talks about satlover c-lines here. Those who asked personal c-line according to the procedure have to wait, and yes this can somethimes take longer than usuall.
Meanwhile you can use the lines from servers 3,4 or from other server(s)
You find enough lines on the forum.
Any posts that are out of topic for this thread will be deleted from now on.

Hi toby, yes still keep trying the free lines from here and yes I think they are getting a little better.But plenty others posted to go at in the meantime.

the problem you have with the spiderbox is not the actual box itself its a great box but because it is a closed source box you have to wait for patches and newer firmwares from the people who write the source code for it.

I am pretty sure the Spiderbox is like the TM5402 it has to use a modified version of CCcam and Newcamd which i am led to believe are quite old and riddled with bugs so in effect its not actually the box at fault what it really needs is the Software developers to adapt a newer version of CCcam to run on the spider.

The TM5402 is very similar but the CCcam on that box is a lot more stable than whats on the spider so causes less Freeze/Glitch infact most servers where perfect and no sign of any Freeze/Glitch.

This is probably why Newcamd is a more popular option on the spider as it seems to be a lot more stable, But it has limitations ie: it only opens 1 package.


As soon as you migrate to a full linux box you will notice straight away the difference and endless possibilites with it there are approx more than 50 or so combination of Cams that can work together or seperately to give you a more stable viewing experience.

My experience is that cccam works best on my vu uno as client for nlines, even on mgcamd optimiset server.

Hi newcamb definatley more stable on spider in HD,but cant wait to have a go with a full Linux...
