Spider and Clines

I cant confirm this but I have just read on some other sites after they have done some testing that the number of Clines you have on a Spider can affect performance possibly because you dont have a Prio file (but I thought the prio file was for providers.
It would appear that the optimum number is 3 any more then that can cause glitching. I will find time to test next week but if anyone can clarify or pass comment it woud be appreciated I am still trying to learn.
I suppose that it could be if a number of lines had similar ecm times it could cause constant switching.

it depends if you have a good server, in the end its all down to that.
always best (pay servers) with n/lines in spider.

Hi I have a spider and been experimenting as you do!.I have loaded a few free c lines from various sites to try.But never have them on at the same time. Cheers.Seem to work ok.

I was also testing last weeks. Ofcourse using all lines at the same time, will unstable it and you will receive many freezes. Using 3 lines at the same time works fine yes. When I use 1 line from a free server and I see I get a lot of freezes, I sometimes try to add a second or 3th line from the same server, to see if it doesn't improve a bit. And sometimes yup, it helps (by me anyway) If you want to test this, see that you use ofcourse another username from that same server But indeed, the most important thing = the server itself

hi guys tried a few differant lines with them all turned on still quite a lot of freezing if thats the case why does it allow you to have 10 lines is it a software problem.

some boxes support more than 10lines. i don't think it is a software problem, rather, a server issue whether it is stable or not. could also depend on your internet speed.

It would help me if you could explain what you mean by 'use another username'.

you can only use one c/line at once, if you enter more than one c/line from same server, make sure you switch off before trying second, if not mr satlovers firewall will block an you might be banned, read rules bit more in free servers section.

I think premium members can use one free cline in addition to the premium lines.

These free servers have mostly a list of different usernames.
test1, test2, ... test500

You create a line with for example username: test2
You create a new line under it with for example: test125
Login in the first one, if it's unstable, you login into the second one at the same time. So you are 2 times connected. By some free servers it helps for me. Specially when I have a black screen for a moment, it opens back faster.

But don't do this by our server here, or the firewall will block you

I got fed up with trying out free clines, a total load of sodding around that always seems to end up in frustration! Then again I suppose it's ok if you are treating it as a hobby and on a crusade to discover that free freeze cline, but to be honest it's like the lotterey it aint gonna happen.

For the sake of a few quid it has to be better to bite the bullet!

These free servers have mostly a list of different usernames.
test1, test2, ... test500

You create a line with for example username: test2
You create a new line under it with for example: test125
Login in the first one, if it's unstable, you login into the second one at the same time. So you are 2 times connected. By some free servers it helps for me. Specially when I have a black screen for a moment, it opens back faster.

just a question jack, how do you know if other servers (free i presume) also have a firewall system, perhaps someone in the know about this can enlighten us, i myself have never tried this but if you get two or more lines working say from one server would this ease the glitching.? like euro an myself best to bit the bullit, no more messing around.

In this game you get what you pay for I tryed the free lines on here and they were to glitchy for me. I then payed for a Premium line from satlover just the same a week later I bought a line for £18 a month. Guess what glitchy as well one week after that bought another £20 a month worked perfect hardly a glitch when the month was up I payed for 3 months. As I siad you get what you pay for and its trial & error which one you pick they all promise free glitching.

I can't accept that this works, especially as the box only has a single core processor!

I could be wrong but if the box was logged on to two servers there is more data to process which could incur more freezing!
