RTL is to exit the beleaguered Greek TV market, selling the controlling stake in its local subsidiary Alpha Media Group. The pan-European broadcaster, which owns The X-Factor co-producer FremantleMedia, paid €125m to take a 70% stake in Alpha Media Group in 2008.
