hi guys if you had the choice between dream 8000 and dream7020hd. which one would you prefer and why?

by the way. does a dream 7020hd clone already exists?

                  DM8000 first,
followed by either 7020HD or 800se

Original DM8000 HD is top of the range and expensive.
A similar clone costs half as much.

I would stay away from DM800 HD (too slow compared with DM800se),
                      but would accept DM800 pro.
The diffrence is that the Pro has a rev. M tuner which is better at handeling HD channels.

DM800 pro (clone) or DM800se (clone)?
                      DM800se wins hands down.

What would the cost of a DM800se be?Also are they easy to operate,do not forget I am a Spiderbox owner with limited knowledge looking to progress into Linux..Thanks...

dm8000 hd Is on top but only compared to other dreamboxes
there are other linux boxes far less expensive and giving better PQ

Like Happy Camper I have to move on from Spiderbox. The free c-lines are interesting but frustrating. I have read the comments posted above ,for DM receivers, and wonder how complicated linux is to get my head around. Is there a 'novice' guide anywhere which I could look at to learn how to set up and operate this type of system?
Apologies if this should be posted somewhere else.
