so is that what streaming all about, downloading movies or what ever from computer to tv, how much did this media hub thing cost?

Media Hub is for streaming from your comp to the Hub then to tv. Media as in pictures videos and the like mine cost me £55 and I got your message 60=12 the other was what he offered you.

Post 12 is a streamer for a spiderbox you do not have to go looking for it.

youve got it cannydo, pm me in febuary, cleared it all up now not going to bother about streaming but thanks all, dont have lorra time to watch any kind of tv somedays, off for few beers now, keeps missus happy, wink, have a gooden all.

Look at the positives euroslob the software for the streaming is here left by fandm cheers m8. You never know somebody some day may ask again for the software.

not really,
like cannydo says might help few others, im clearer on the subject now, but home streaming dosent seem to have much to do with satellite, what this forum for.

It not just about satellite it it about what further uses that you can get out of a spiderbox it can be used as a home media centre for streaming media files from your comp to a spider.

yes looks like other things to get most out of box, but i only use box in conjuntion with a satellite dish, myself i was just curious and hence thread called spiderbox home streaming
just though id ask about this, anyway i did not start the thread.

Hi, I started thread to find out if it was very easy to Home Stream on a Spiderbox, judging by most of the very helpfull posts it seems that the Spiderbox doesn't stream that well, I can still only get a few seconds of Avi. file to work, it's not the end of the world for me, it was just another toy to play with.

Just to add a footnote to this.
I could never get streaming to work on my old XP lapton. The one I have now is running Win 7, and it no problem.
