What is the advantage in 'loading by file'please?
I load manually and find it easy.
I'm just wondering why some people use usb.

you cannot make a mistake by file andis quicker

Hi happy camper, load the confif file onto a usb
then goto the lines on satlover
clk on aline and hold down and drag the cursor all the way across the line
you should now have a blue line
put your cursor on the blue line and right click
in the drop down box clk copy
now open up your usb drive
double clk the config file file to open
when open right clk and copy or paste
you should now have a config file with a line in it
clk close and it will ask do you want to save changes clk, yes
put the usb into the spider
next goto menu on spiderbox
Then goto usb and open
when open look for the config file and clk, it will then ask you do you want to load clk,box yes
your line is now loaded
clk exit goto network and client see if the line has loaded
when you next want to load a line again on you usb drive when you open it just delete the line enter a new one clk close, it will ask if you want to save changes clk yes,and your new line is then ready to reload in the spider
when you enter a new line by usb it will auto delete the old line for you

It's worthwhile installing a multiple clipboard on your computer and then you can download a good number of clines on to your USB stick and then test each one without having to go back to your computer between tests. (****** "multiple clipboad" - the program I use was free)

The trouble with entering lines by UBS is that you keep having to get off your arse to plug it into computer and then into STB. It's exhausting.

I know how you feel, its good when you get it to work! I was in the same boat as you less than a week ago, but help from the guys on here I got it to work.

I'm now going to give it a go using fandm method (post 5). Thanks for the file euroslob.

The exercice will do me good sataday, time of year and all.

totally agree with sataday, loading lines on sticks, now nev talking about installing a mulitiple clipboard where will it end, only takes minute to update lines an server 3 when you get on it just port number to change, all this high tec biz, i like to watch a bit of tv now an then.

At the end of the day Toby It's all down to preference, probably like yourself I prefere to use the remote. However it's good to see that we have given people here the choice and the help on either method.
