The two bouquets Cyfra+ and n (TVN) will be merged into a biggest platform totalling 2.5 million subs.
The new offer will be run by Marcus Tellenbach and Beata Monka and will also cooperate with TVN for content production. Canal+ Group will take over 51 % of the new platform along with TVN Group (32 %) and UPC (17 %).
To strengthen this deal, Canal+ will also take a significant shareholding in TVN along with ITI. Growth revenues and synergies over the next three years are expected to be up PLN 250 million. By the end of 2015, the new television TV is expected to boast more than 3 million subs and reach an EBITDA of PLN 550 million.
