      0% loss and an average of 50ms on Sat Lover
      At this time 13h35 , a freeze maybe every 15min.

        Mine is normally around 25ms - I would have thought any lagging is more likely the server than the ping.. unless you are on sat broadband or something?

              you're right.
              and now when lot of user is pinging satlover servers just like that, it's not helping to anybody, it's just slowing down the server.
              So, you can expect that pinging will be disabled soon I think.

                as 'mirny' point the server load , i recommend to block ping packets on the firewall of server to reduce server load , maybe be useful , pinging with none stop option ( -t ) its like flooding a server like dos attacks ...

                      My average ping to satlovers is 174ms now . One hour ago was about 84ms. Can ping change so much?

                        If it's in peak times like 20.00PM then yes it can be slower!
                        Mine for example now 18.55PM is:

                            28ms from the south east of england though i do get a bit of freezing which i am looking into at the moment, could be my home plug setup

                              24ms with cisco877 but not have wireless currently I am using a d-link router with wirelss section e my ping is 33ms
