Freesat adds 5 channels from Channel 5

Freesat is adding a range of channels from Channel 5 to the platform, effective immediately: Channel 5+1 , 5 USA , 5 USA+1 , 5* and 5*+1 .

Freesat viewers will be able to watch comedy, sport, classic American action movies and popular dramas on 5 USA, whilst the addition of 5* to the service will give access to soaps, films, entertainment, drama and documentaries.

Adding Channels 5+1 , 5 USA+1 and 5*+1 means that Freesat viewers can watch shows an hour after they’ve transmitted – adding to the flexibility Freesat viewers already have.

Useually if it is is transmited on freesat it is all the same old rubbish that is availble to watch on a free view box mainly repeats of repeats of repeats.with the odd new program thrown in.

freesat means freeee chns, dont get confused with murdocks bunch also on 28e. hope this helps you rob. also anything you see free to air (fta) freeview is terrestrial. (free view box)

Hi rob45 why are you only watching free channels is the ethernet service switched off on your box.you also have ucas, nlines,and clines.

hi fandm thanks for answering yes my ethernet is off trying to read up on clines but to be honest dont even know how to enter one any help would be greatfull not very good at wrighting posts either takes a long time

hi rob45 have tou got a cccam software file. that is you first requirement download the latest version,it maybe on the download section of satlover if not ****** it.
When you have downloaded it. upack the wrar or zip file, scroll down the files till you find server config file,then copy and paste or drag and drop the file on to a usb drive.

Scroll down to the free clines on server three. I have used the first one in the example below but you may have to try a few before finding one that works.

On Spiderbox remote press Menu, toggle to Accessory, scroll down to Network and press OK. Toggle down to Client/Client Setup and press OK. You should see a list of numbers 1 - 10 all saying off.

Choose one and press OK, on Type toggle right to CCCAM, then enter the following:

Name or IP Address: cccam.satlover.com
Port: 18789
ID: 201A7DAE_8B29D2BB
Password: www.satlover.com

Then scroll down and click on Apply. Exit and if done correctly should now show "connect" and ???? Cards.

Exit back to TV and see what opens. If you can master this you should consider buying a premium service for a better viewing experience.

Its a lot quicker if you use a server config file on your usb then you cannot make a typo mistake.then it is up to a bit of luck if the line works,due to the amount of people using the line, also try it on different channels.

hi fandm is it the same file that was put up on a---t i tried that once but then read that you could only share a card if also had one to share so thats why i never went down that route so here i am.

I thought you where after clines,these you can use without card shareing.
