    Hi Mick,

No, I am afraid not. the OpenBox S10 can not access BBC IPlayer.
    None of the chinese openbox's. (S9, S10, S11 & S12).
Dislikes the Chinese Openbox Receivers, so much..

        Hi Toby,

You can watch iPlayer on some of the Freesat branded set top boxes like the Foxsat Humax box.

You have to be in the UK though or use a proxy server to get access.

A proxy server lets you mask your own ip address with one from another country so literally fools what ever your trying to access.

In other words say you lived in spain and wanted iplayer from the UK if you used your normal ip this would be detected and you would not be allowed in, so you use a proxy server that masks your ip with a UK ip and that lets you in.

Unfortunately the free ones generally are no good for iPlayer.

So it is up to the individual how much they want to use the service, because it is almost undoubtedly going to cost them.

It is also possible on some Sony TV's that have Internet access. Also has Demand 5 and ******* available :-)

Have a look on ****** for VPN - you'll find quite a few ideas on how to appear to be in the UK. Used such a service to access Hulu in the US - but it's a hit and miss affair.
