hi all, i have just installed motor/dish on bruvs old fixed set-up last week-end,an associate at his work place has offered to sell him a protek9700hd i think, for £80, question is to all who know, is it worth that and are they capable of accepting lines etc, your thoughts and comments welcomed

this is a signature from a guy on another forum
protek 9700 hd (newcamd) technomate tm500 super (mgcamd 131)
so according to that signature
he has newcamd installed on his protek 9700 hd

From what I've read this box is similar to Spiderbox.

It supports Newcam but not CCcam.

There is also gift servers with no expiry. However I would double check with the seller what is opening at the moment.

The price seems reasonable, they were around £240 brand new.
