hi guys seems like the openbox s10 can have afew probs, as my bruv needs new box (set his motor up yesterday) hes not sure what to get yet, perhaps openbox out of the picture now, hes old box 1500ci tec no good now, so plenty time to think about new box.

I tried some MKV files on my openbox. A low bitrate 720p file (2gb in size) played fine. It didn't have any subtitles with it so couldn't test that bit.

I tried a higher bitrate 720p MKV and the picture froze. I could still hear sound.

I know my 1.5ghz laptop has trouble playing MKV, so unless that is a a really high spec processor in it, I would think it will struggle to play them.

No i don't have a local, i pay for 2 clines full CanalSat France servers. So i use cccam.

I tried 1011 and the problem about hd channels was there too. After that i mailed openbox seller from yojiatech and they tell me to try the firm 0915 but no change. I'm scared it's my openbox that doesn't manage prio file.

Thanks, it's 720p. About my hd channels i think it's a problem with cccam prio. Mine is ok but i think the openbox doesn't manage i: line as it should and so i get some hd channels trying to decrypt on seca as it should decrypt on viaccess...

hi what software is installed on your openbox s10
load the latest software once and you will be saved several bugs
Take the soft for example: 10/10 11

I'm not sure about the HD channels, as mine does display them fine.

With the MKV, are they 720p or 1080p videos? If they are 1080p then the bitrate may be too high for the box to handle. Also I doubt that it has support for subtitles on MKV. I do have a few MKV files I will give them a try and report back to you.

Hi everyone, i'm french and a new owner of an openbox S10. I come from dreambox world so i am disappointed of some functions in this box, but it's cheaper! I have some questions and need your precious help

Well my 1st problem is about hd channels, i can't get all of them. Some HD channels stay black screen but my snr is ok and my cccam is green and active, sometimes for example tf1HD doesn't work and the next day it work but another doesn't work... I can see the subtitles but no image and no sound! I tried 4 different firms (my openbox is an original) and the problem remains. I also tried different cccam prio, no change.
Another problem for hd channels working is sometimes i don't have sound, i change the mode in system settings and sound is ok but in other hd channels no sound so i need to change again the sound mode... Again and again.
Other problem now it's for reading mkv file, i tried it and sound and video are ok (but video freeze) but i can't get the subtitles even if they are incrusted!! Why??
