    Re: Openbox S10 problems.

I asked for a discount to the chinese seller where i bought the openbox so dreambox costs me 160$ ems shipping included. And i just sold my openbox 110$. So it's not a so big cost for me and i hope i will prefer a lot the dreambox 800.

$110 USD? If so that means you hardly lost anything?

I think you will prefer the DM800, but my openbox is still adequate (for now!).

                  They have many differencies :

                  - Not a open source firmware : you don't have many different firmware available because the source code is not open.
                  - Less performance I think
                  - Cams are not the official one, it's a build dedicated for this boxes so for example it's not possible to use cccam as server and you will not be able to use all benefits from oscam for instance.
                  - Openbox is a user friendly (and maybe too much) and is dedicated to people who don't care about the details and just want light.
                  - Settings management is really bad even if we can find software like setedit to manage them on computer.

Here is my opinion. It's a very good box if you have already a dremabox as server and you just want a box for a second tv...

I'm perfectly agreed with that. I'm in love with my DM800 since i sold my openbox S10!! It really worth the price!

As you've now experienced both, how do you find it. Is it a massive difference or just the bugs worked out type difference?
