what i meant is if you got hd television an hd box, any thing you can receive picture form in hd is great, that is what the kit is for. even itvhd does not always broadcasts all programmes in hd, managed to see 3d other day for first time, not impressed at all

i have seen several providers claiming that they brodcast in hd
but i am not sure that 720-576 are hd
if they start with 720 and say that is hd i will say they cheating superscribers

also yes i can agree with vimmers that some chns with the h/def logo on top of screen do not even look hd, especially when you change back to a channel like eurosport, what a difference

what I meant here is that they dont use the maximum potential for the sd resolution. maximum potential resolution for sd is 720x576 but resolution of dorcel on hotbird is 544x576. they dont even use maximum potential for sd.

I also agree with people here. some of the hd channels doesnt look like hd. I think their actual source is sd but they interpolate that sd source to hd. so picture doesnt look like actual hd.

you are right yselim if the program has not been recorded in hd 1020pi then it is just interpolated to try and bring the quality up but it does not really work

what is the frequnce?

Below channels only have 11727 V 27500 3/4 Frequence. and i didn't see Dorcel HD!

it is available on 19°East from 22CET on 12721h and from 23CET on 12285v.

But NOT in HD.

i used to watch this channel months ago and was impressed with the quality. i thought it was in hd as it was so clear. will now hunt for the proper hd channels.
