hello folks!

i recently purchased a tm 5402hd and a tring plus card for sat epl games! since purchasing the card tring have stopped transmitting the games and now i have a 1.1m dish pointing 16e and a tring plus card thats pretty much useless as i dont speak albanian!

what id like is some good advice on how to get my moneys worth out of my new system without incurring much more expence, ive already arranged for my dish to be motorised but after that i pretty much dont have a clue! any and all help (preferably in laymans terms) would be greatly appreciated as my wife is currently smiling at me with that I TOLD YOU SO LOOK!!!!

Hi Sharper,

Get yourself the TM latest phantom patch which will really open the box for you with loads more features, Especially cccam and newcamd then all tats needed is one of the free line's form mr satlover and a world of entertainment will open up for you.

Just curious where you based i install in the north west and would have sorted the flashing of your box with a tutorial to help you get by if needed, Hope who ever you get to motorise your dish will give you the same help.

Just to put your mind at ease all my motor installs i alway use the TM5402 for customers it really is a very good and stable client box.

im based in belfast, im really glad to hear that about the 5402! after a bit of reading i though id made a huge mistake and should have gotten a dreambox but to be honest im really happy with the tm, its quite user friendly or should i say newbie friendly!!!!

do a bit of research there is plenty of line servers out there, to install is quite easy to do, but take on a few test lines first, help always good on this forum

sharper71, like digicon said tm not to bad a box, last one i had was the 1500 and i agree they were a good box, good for signal strengh, a good blind scan, and very easy for setting up motor positions.
sold mine to purchase hd box, plus things move on in sat game
