The Polish DTH platform n will add five new HD channels to its offer on November 4, bringing the total to 33.
Four of the channels – TVN Turbo HD and TVN Style HD, due to launch on November 4, and ‘n’ Premium 1 and 2, making their debuts on December 15 – will be exclusive.
The fifth, TVN 7 HD, will launch on November 4. TVN Turbo HD, which is aimed at a male audience and focuses on motoring programmes, has been available in SD since December 2003, while the female-skewed TVN Style HD was launched in SD in August 2004.
‘N’ Premium 1 and 2 will offer a premium line-up of the most popular blockbuster movies, most recent Hollywood releases and sports, including Champions League and Europa League games.
The SD version of TVN 7 HD was launched in March 2002.
Platform n is owned by ITI Neovision, a subsidiary of TVN, and currently has over 826,000 subscribers.
