Auto Chanel Changes ?!

So wird things happening to me lol ..
Now these 2 days ,the dm500s is changing the chanels him self !
e.g:
Im watching one chanel,after while its changing to other chanel,or to oter satelite..
This happend just to me or someone else have had this problem !

Hi badboy20 !
Is this happens even if you cover with your hand the remote control?
If that is happening ,I think that your remote control have a problem
Try to change it with a new one or take an other from a friend to test it.

This may sound crazy to some but it has happened to me while i slept, first off have you changed FTP access control to your dreambox by adding a password if not and you have left the standard useless password on your box then if your internet gets hacked then they can access your box and change anything they want.

I would advise that you change all passwords and even your internet modem or router as well just to be on safe side

no i didnt change nothing ,its all standard password,how can i add FTP password,and change passsword od DM ?

you need to conect to your box via telnet protocol, i use it trough dcc 2.95 it has built in telnet console. Conect the box via dcc, press the telnet button on the right and telnet console will open type passwd in the console and type the password there will be no cursor movement so dont get confused continue typing, when done press enter and reenter it and you are done.

or simply go to srat menu-run
telnet 192.168.***.*** (this is your dreambox ip)
than type your username enter
your current password enter
than type 'passwd'
and folow the instructions

thanks for answers ,i have changed the password ,so ill see tomorrow if is it changing ,i will tell you

My Orion TV remote changes the channel of my Satellite STB and switches my audio system on whenever I use it. Your problem might be something similar.

No this didnt solve my problem ,i changed password but its changing again ,ill try to flash new image

You have also to block the http interface. If you have open the port 80 and redirect it to the dreambox. Anybody can access to the http interface of your box and can switch channel through it...

You are totaly right,thats what i think it was..,but its not becaouse i changed the IP addres and still was changing .and can anyone tell me how to backup the bouqets before flashing new image,to not install again all

You can use Dreambox Edit...

im using DCC,i can do with that ,but i just dont know wich files,or folders i need to copy from them ... !?

I think it's easier to use Dreambox Edit. It will do it automatically and you will be able to customized your lists...

so with DreamboxEdit i just need first to receive all my Chanels and seva them ,and then after flashin just send it to DM ..Its just like that !
