not showing active

hi,i am having a little problem with my config file(well i think its that anyway)
when looking for new peers,i send them my cline and they all come back saying that im not showing active.the only way it all connects properly is when they send back there cline and it pairs with mine,then i show active and all is ok.but mainly i do not get sent back a cline because of this issue.any help on this will be great thanks.ps only second post so sorry if i have posted in wrong place.

sorry just to add if it means more its a dreambox 800hd using cccam 2.1.2.thanks

sounds like u haven't opened the port to the dreambox

sorry been away for a few days.thanks for the responce but ports are all fine.it connects fine, but like i said not untill they give me there cline a i put that into my config file. that only when i show active to them.

then all is fine
don't remove the lines after u put them into them .cfg line
they are not supposed to see u before that

thanks again for help.but that is my problem, as you know when a person asks for share they say."pm me your cline and i will send you mine if you are active"hence where my problem lies,as if i send them my cline it does not show active to them.so most of the time i get no reply back or sorry your line is not active so no sharing,but it only becomes active if they send there cline to put in my config, then all is fine.i have try loads of different way around it but with no success.

i am not a wise guy and newer tried to send a cline or ran a server
but do u create flines to the 1 u send clines to

thanks,but at first you only send c line i have no info back from them till they see if im active,well i always have done it like that lol may be that is what im doing wrong.could someone confirm with me if this is what i should do.when i send them my cline i also have to put a fline in for me to show as active to them before they send me there cline.thanks all

but i just mowed to a new apartment an haven't set up my dish an dreambox yet

yes sorry i should. it was my own fault in the way i was sending the cline.i was just sending them the cline and not puting a fline in my config at the same time.
hence they could not see me as active.just could not get my head around it.so now when i/anyone is asked for a cline to see if you are active you have to put a fline in your config at the same time for this to happen i.e you send
C: *********.dyndns.org 12000 fredblogs john123 and you put in your config
F: fredblogs john123
f-line in your cccam.cfg with the same username and password at end of cline.
i know 90% of you will allready know this but i could not get my head around it when reading "how to files" well i hope this helps the other 10% like me lol

p.s if they do not return a clne for you then you just delete fline.
