Travel Channel HD will make its debut in Poland on Vectra, the country’s second largest operator, of September 1.
The channel will be localised, on air for 24 hours daily and scheduled separately to its SD counterpart.
Travel Channel is currently available in 120 countries in 20 languages across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific region.
It is operated by Travel Channel International Limited (TCI), which is based in London.
Vectra meanwhile has 775,000 subscribers in 164 towns and cities throughout Poland.
Prior to the addition of Travel Channel HD, its offer included 20 HD channels.
