    new receiver help please

looking to buy a hd receiver something like openbox s10 , fergusson avia, or a spiderbox , I had a dm500 a few years ago on a motor set up but it died and i never replaced it still got the dish etc and now looking to sample a lot of channels again without too much setting up hassle and maybe subscribe to a server again not wanting to spend a fortune but would like it up and running again ,what is the best supported receiver from the above ps. was also offered a opticum make but again can't find a lot of files etc for this receiver

thanks for all your comments in advance guys

            Hi

I suggest the Amiko Alien it supports E2 or the Sab Unix+F.

            Both HD

            regards

I through it in the bin about a year ago it had a fault that was making it buzz and would'nt turn or power the dish motor i'm thinking still openbox s10 but don't know if it has enough support yet

                  cheers hutchy36

the dreambox or the dreambox clones like the 800hd are best supported along with i would say vu but the spider box is probably the simpelest to use but if it was me i would go with a dreambox clone buy one withimage already on then it plain sailing from there

                      Re: new receiver help please

thanks topman for the reply i hear what your saying maybe things have changed, I found the dream a bit too much hard work for the money I had paid, still looking at either openbox or as you say spiderbox it is really a plug in and play one I'm looking for with the online forum support for patches etc and not costing a fortune in case i don't use it that often

                      thanks again hutchy36

Thanks to everyone that replied I have purchased a Openbox S9 , didn't go for the S10 as I didn't see as much support for that model oh well i'll see how I get on guys

                      thanks again to all hutchy36
