I suggest you use www.dishpointer.com to work this out.

If you put your location and the satellite as Astra 28E in this will give you the direction and, more importantly for you, angle of elevation. If you then cut out a triangle with this angle you can then stick it onto a spirit level and look up along the hypotenuse. You should then be able to see how much clear sight you have of the satellite.

Dishpointer allows you to drag the pushpin to your exact location so you can see any local tall obstructions and whether, maybe, moving the dish a few metres left or right will make a difference.
