Ok, I will try it now, just to clarify, it is the actual technomate box that is completely crashing when selecting a scrambled channel. Il give it a go now using what you have told me.

Server 3 does tend to suffer from freezing problems.

Now you have 10 posts you have access to additional server 3 c-lines. I would go back to the free server page (link below), scroll down to the hidden '10 post' block and choose one of those c-lines, as they are likely to be more stable. Remember to use just one (or you will be blocked by the firewall) so replace your current Satlover line with one of those from the '10 post' hidden block.

I have been reading around the forum and attempted to connect to a c line yesterday night unsuccessfully,I have sinced discovered due to server problems. However, tonight I managed to get a active connection, I preceded to selecting a channel on hotbird which is part of the nova GR package with iderto encryption. I waited patiently, but the box went on to freeze and display the number 2 on the front panel. I restarted everything again and repeated several times and it continued to freeze. Is this a fault of the box, me doing steps wrong or simply the c line quality since it is the free server 3?

Ps I apologise for using the forum to ask questions that might be so obvious or repeated, I just hope they are new questions that will help others if answered.
