    Sharing TM HD

    Server Settings

    1st Turn on the
    2nd Go to settings network adapter
    * Main menu -> Setup -> System -> Network -> Adapter settings

    3. ‘Use DHCP’
    4. Change the 4th part of the IP address (NEVER CHANGE THE OTHER 3 PARTS OF THE IP ADDRESS)
    For example: 192.168.1.159 (with DHCP On) -> 192.168.1.211 (with DHCP Off)
    5. The message "STARTING..." will appear on the front panel
    6. Press the OK button a few times on the front panel until the message "Checking Key" appears
    7. Check the IP Address
    *In this example, it is 192.168.1.211
    8. Open the web browser in your computer (Internet Explorer, etc)
    9. Enter the IP Address (from step 8) in the web browser (in the white box where you enter a website address). The following will appear (*If you can’t see a static IP, you will need to upgrade to the latest version):

    10. Click on CCcam Edit and then you will see this:

    11. In ‘Add Line at the bottom...’ type “SERVER LISTEN PORT : 45000” in the white box and then click on Add Line
    *You can change the Port value from 20000 ~ 60000 (recommended)

    12. Click on Previous Page

    13. Type “F: Id password 0 0 0” in the white box and then click on Add Line
    * It needs a temporary ID & Password for the Slave. For the ID & Password use only letters (a,c,B,N…..) & numbers (1,2,3….) but not any special characters (!,@,#,$......)
    For example, if the ID is user1 and password is pass1 :

    F: user1 pass1 0 0

    14. Click on Previous Page
    15. If you have 2 or more slaves, repeat steps 14 & 15, for example, if there are 3 slaves:

    F: user1 pass1 0 0 0
    F: user2 pass2 0 0 0
    F: user3 pass3 0 0 0

    16. Turn the Power Off and On
    17. Set/Link the port between the Router and the receiver
    *Check the router’s manual for Port forwarding
    *Search ‘Port Forwarding and your Router’s model’ in ******, for example: ‘bt 2700hgv port forwarding’

    Client Settings

    1. Turn ON the receiver
    2. The message "STARTING..." will appear on the front panel
    3. Press the OK button a few times on the front panel until the message "Checking Key" appears
    4. Check the IP Address
    5. Open the web browser in your computer (Internet Explorer, etc)
    6. Enter the IP Address (from step 4) in the web browser (in the white box where you enter a website address). The following will appear (*If you can’t see a static IP, you will need to upgrade to the latest version):

    7. Click on CCcam Edit, and then you will see this:

    8. In ‘Add Line at the bottom...’ type “C: Master’s static IP 45000 user1 pass1” in the white box and then click on Add Line, for example:

    * Check the Master’s Static IP in step 10 of <Master setting>
    * If the Master’s static IP is 211.144.178.211 and the Slave is No 3, therefore you should type:
    C: 211.144.178.211 45000 user3 pass3
    * You should check the Master’s SERVER LISTEN PORT (see Step 12 of <Master setting>)
    If the Listen Port is 35000, type as follows:

    C: 211.144.178.211 35000 user1 pass1

    9. Click on Previous Page
    10. Turn the Power Off and On

    Now if you see somthing like this in your reciver ?

    If you do and you don't have a motor on your dish, you just have to tell what providers do you use on which satellite and i will send you a custom made C line that will filter uneeded providers

    If you don't you have first to patch your reciver

        Thank you for the effort, I appreciate it alot. I will try this later tonight and let you know. Bong1 is right, all of this is pre installed I think only CCCAM and NewCamD. Anyway, lets try this and see what I find.

          Can you insert a line like this C: server port user pass no {x:x:x, ...} ?

          If you can it won't metter you can still use filters to block undesired providers

          Also you didn't told me if you have a motor on your dish or you just stay positioned on one satellite

            I still havent got round to trying it yet. To answer your questions, I can input C: server port user pass into the C line entry, I havent done the instructions you have told me yet so if you mean that Il let you know tomorrow. And my dish is a motor dish.

              I followed the instructions for the sharing on a TM HD, but this doesnt help me in finding out why the whole box crashes in random intervals when the connection to the server is live.

                OK if you have motor try this :

                Go to Hellas Sat 2, and with c-line from stalover.com try to open a channel from Buls*****, and see if your getting those freezes. Be carefull to not use vplug and not start a FTA channel.

                If this works ok is just a server problem, if not it could be somthing with your firmware.

                Also the server could be alive but if you are not getting any DWC is useless

                    no = you don't want emus
                    {0:0:3}
                    { caid:id(:uphops)}

                    It means that you recive all the cards from hop1, hop2 and hop3 shared by the server

                    Anyway i think this was already explained in this forum

                        In response to this instruction, it was not possible to get to anywhere near this, there is not a setup to network option available on the 5402hd... Its because it is built in, but I have no idea how to update it because I dont expect the CCCAM to stay with the same firmware forever?!

                          Vplug is a plugin that uses softcam to decode channels, so using that you can be sure if the freezings are comming from a bad cline or from your reciver/firmware

                            Do you know how I can disable the v plugin on the tm5402hd and also how do I get to the network adapter settings you gave in the tutorial? Once I know how to do this I will easily be able to custom configure my box, but at the moment all I can do is input C lines into the I.P window.

                                Nothing like that menu layout exists on this system.

                                If you look at the manual everything there is what is available in a menu.
                                http://download.for-better.biz/bbs/upload/tm5402hd/[2010.10.06]Manual_TM-5402HD%20CI+%20Super+.zip

                                I think its just one of the receivers that has its CCCAM inbuilt because when I enter the i.p menu via a button on the remote, I have the option to input CCCAM or newcamd....

                                Thanks again for your help
