Parental lock keeps resetting on reboot

I have parental lock on my dirty channels but find that it keeps resetting on rebooting my dn800hd box, this means you are able to access the channels without pin.
I like to make these channels unavailable completely, advice appreciated.

I use Dreambox Control Centre to hide and lock the channels. That's the only way I know of hiding them.

not that i want parent control on my box
but it is good to know how to
and i cant neither see how u can do that in dcc
unless he created a script to do it

Have you used DCC at all before? If not it probably makes sense to at least go through a simple tutorial in case you mess things up (I'm sure there are tutorials on the web).

This is just how I do it, others may have better methods.

To enable parental locks.

In DCC, there are three windows, "Services", "TV User Bouquet details" and "Bouquets".

Put all the ***** channels into a bouquet you want to protect. Right click on the bouquet in "Bouquets" and select "Toggle parental lock".

You can also right click on individual channels in the "Services" window, click "Show/Edit details" and set the parental lock there as well.

Once you have sent the files back to the Dreambox, make sure you click the "Reload settings on Dreambox" button to apply the changes.

There are other settings like "delete service", that would completely remove the offending channels.

Yes, I am talking about Dream Box Edit (I get the two mixed up).

I agree it is dreamboxedit....it was in this that I set teh parental lock but when i rebooted the box all the channels were available.
I believe for me the best option is to delete the service.

Can some one tell me if i delete the service it won't cause issues with other channels will it?

It will not cause issues, but if someone scans for services, it will get picked up again.

Did you click the "reload settings on dreambox" button when you did edit the channels?

]BROTHER AFTER PUTTING CHANNELS UNDER PARENTEL CONTROL VIA DREAM BOX EDIT. DO NOTHING. JUST UNPLUG THE STB FROM MAIN POWER AND RESTART. JUST ALL OK.
