Which Linux Box ?

Hi guys


I am thinking to get a Linux box, Which is shell i go 4 ....

Open box s9 or Dreambox 800
Dreambox 800 or AZ Box Premium Plus
Vu Duo or Gbox or IP-Box 9000 HD

Sooooooooooooooo many Linux boxes in market, don't know which 1 to go for

I am bit confused , for e.g on some forums they say open box is good box on some they says it's not .....It's same with other boxes.

If you have any of the above receiver plz help me with your comments.

I've got a Technomate TM600. It's pretty good, but software support is very poor.

Great value for money though.

I've had a VU+ Duo since June. Very happy with it. It has good support, lots of images and plugins available for it.

Myself I have a vu+ duo. I'm very happy of it's performences. The price is ok for the quality you get. In my opinion, it's a better linux box than latest dreambox hd boxes.
There's also a very good support : different official upgrades from vu+, different image teams next to vu+ original image.
So the choise for a vu+ duo (or solo) would certainly not be a bad choise. I'm glad I did.
Off course there are other good linux boxes, so I understand you are confused.
But dreambox isn't the only ruler anymore. If you still hesitate read some reviews on the net (****** for it).

i suggest Vu+Duo because is one of the most aggressive rival to dreambox and also that will be great support when nemsis will join dream elite

Dreambox 500HD or Dm 800HD or newest one Dm 800se. Dreamboxes remain number 1 receivers for support.
In the end choice is yours. Plenty linux receivers in market. Ask 100 and decide yourself..

Dreambox is very expensive. Yes it's good quality, I agree, but there are other cheaper linux receivers that work very well as for example the vu+ solo or duo, the q box mini, AZ box. Myself I'm very happy of my choise for vu+ duo. I don't use my dreambox 7020 anymore since I purchased my vu+ duo.

dreambo: 800hd se complet box, i think it the best ( hdmi no dvi:compatible allmachines)

yes its clone,but my guestion was is good ferrari card or not for that price
